By placing an order through Motherhoard.com, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. Transparency and clear expectations are important, especially for a small shop working on detailed hardware, often by hand.

Pricing and Adjustments

All prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. While every effort is made to ensure pricing and availability are accurate, discrepancies can occasionally occur. Motherhoard reserves the right to update prices or correct listings as needed. If any changes affect an active order, you’ll be contacted before it proceeds.

Order Acceptance and Confirmation

Orders are not considered accepted until reviewed and confirmed. Motherhoard reserves the right to cancel or limit any order for any reason, including suspected misuse or inventory discrepancies. Confirmation emails indicate your order has been received, not that it is guaranteed or finalized.

Processing Time

Every controller or repair is built and tested by hand. Standard processing time is 5–10 business days, but this may extend during busy periods, for custom builds, or if parts are delayed. Orders are shipped after completion — not at the time of purchase. Updates will be sent if your order is expected to take longer than usual.

Shipping and Delivery Within the U.S.

Motherhoard ships via USPS or UPS, depending on item size, location, and service level. Standard delivery takes 2–5 business days once shipped. Expedited options may be available at checkout. Once a package leaves the workshop, delivery times are controlled by the carrier.

If your package appears delayed, check the tracking info first. If a package hasn’t moved for 10+ days, reach out and support will do what it can.

International Shipping

International shipping is available to most countries. Rates are calculated at checkout. Tracking may vary depending on the destination country.

Duty Fees and Import Taxes

All international customers are responsible for their country’s import fees, duties, or taxes. These are not collected at checkout. If you’re unsure what to expect, check with local customs before ordering.

Unpaid Duties and Return Policy

If an international shipment is returned due to unpaid duties or failed delivery, it will not be automatically reshipped. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and additional costs may apply if you'd like the item resent.

Liability for Duty Fees

Motherhoard does not cover or reimburse customs fees. Payment and understanding of these charges are entirely the buyer’s responsibility.

Shipping Restrictions

Motherhoard complies with all U.S. export laws and restrictions. Products may not be shipped to countries or regions under embargo or other shipping restrictions.

Incorrect Addresses

Orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses are the responsibility of the buyer. If you catch an error quickly, reach out immediately — changes can sometimes be made before fulfillment. Once a label is printed or the package is shipped, redirection may not be possible.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your item arrives damaged, or is confirmed lost by the carrier, please contact support within 7 days. Every effort will be made to replace or repair the item — but keep in mind that all builds are one-person efforts. Shipping insurance is available upon request at checkout.
